Hi! I'm Brian Keel!
I create clarity when the answer isn’t obvious.
I’m a strategic UX research leader who helps teams uncover the real problem, challenge assumptions with evidence, and build the shared understanding they need to make more confident decisions.

I’m a UX research leader and strategic research partner who helps teams create clarity when the answer isn’t obvious. I’m most energized by the beginning of a problem: understanding what a team is really trying to accomplish, questioning the initial framing, and uncovering the question beneath the research request.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across financial services, AI-powered productivity, recruiting technology, payroll, accounting, education, tax, and consumer hardware. The domains have changed, but the pattern in my work has remained consistent: partner with people across disciplines, look beyond what customers say to understand what they actually do, and turn complex evidence into shared understanding that supports better decisions. I also help organizations build their own capacity to learn rather than making every decision dependent on a researcher.
Outside of work, I’m a husband and father, and many of the people closest to me work in education. I spend a fair amount of time watching lacrosse, helping family members think through their own professional goals, and remaining curious about how people learn, make decisions, and navigate the systems around them.
